TM Studios has unveiled a fresh jingle package for Audacy's Hot AC station, Mix 96.5 (KHMX) in Houston. This new offering, dubbed 'Mix Hot AC 2', is a comprehensive suite of audio elements designed to enhance the station's on-air identity. It includes a variety of themes, such as jingle themes, hour openers, morning and jock themes, weather and traffic beds, instrumentals, acapella vocals, and sonic logos, totaling 14 unique tracks.
The collaboration between TM Studios and Mix 96.5 has been praised by both parties. JR Ammons, the station's Brand Manager, expressed his satisfaction with the project, stating, 'TM created an amazing new sound for Mix; Dave and his team are ridiculously talented. They took us in a different, new direction and I couldn't be happier. I’m thrilled with how it all came together. Mix has never sounded better.'
Dave Bethell, COO and Co-Owner of TM Studios, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the shared vision between the two entities. He said, 'I’m so happy to be working with JR once again. We share similar visions on branding, the Hot AC format, and how effective jingles are as a tool to make deeper connections with listeners, building trust and recall in a way imaging alone will never do. TM is in the business of helping stations be unforgettable, and we’re proud that Mix has a package that fulfills that brief.'
This collaboration underscores the importance of jingles in the radio industry, particularly in the Hot AC format, where they play a crucial role in building brand recognition and fostering a deeper connection with the audience. The new jingle package is expected to contribute to the station's continued success and listener engagement.
